Woody Plants in Bramble Plantings
Return to Weeds
Woody plants (various) can grow within bramble plantings, complicating production and interfering with growth. Birds resting on trellises or canes tend to defecate seeds of unwanted woody species (e.g., mulberry or hackberry) into bramble plantings.

Management:
- Cut stems of unwanted plants and coat stubs with glyphosate.
