Wood/Cane Cankers of Grapes
Return to Diseases
Wood/cane cankers (Botryosphaeria, etc.) can occur in vineyards when plants are stressed and weakened. Canker-causing fungi enter woody tissue through wounds, such as pruning cuts, mechanical injury, and insect damage.
