Powdery Mildew of Strawberry
Return to Diseases
Powdery mildew (Sphaerotheca macularis) primarily affects leaves; however, petioles, flowers, and fruit may also become affected. White, powdery fungal growth develops on lower leaf surfaces and succulent tissues. Leaf edges roll up as disease becomes more severe. Powdery mildew is more severe in high tunnel plantings than in fields.

- Use fungicides if disease becomes severe.
