Lambsquarters (Chenopodium album) is a rapidly-growing summer annual that can reach 6 feet in height. Erect stems branch freely and are often reddish or striped with pink, purple, or yellow. It is adaptable to most environmental conditions.

Management:
- Mulch.
- Apply pre-emergent herbicides to prevent seed germination.
- Shallow till once plants emerge.
- Apply post-emergent herbicides.
